Steve Skrovan is an American producer, writer, and director.

Career

A former stand-up comedian,[1] Skrovan was a writer for the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond.[2] Previously, he was the host for the first two seasons of the game show That's My Dog! on Family. Skrovan was also the original host of Totally Hidden Video, which aired on FOX from 1989-1992. He co-wrote the Seinfeld episode "The Movie" and wrote an episode of The Home Court entitled "In Cyberspace Everyone Can Hear You Scream", a spoof of the tagline for Alien. More recently, he wrote, produced, and directed An Unreasonable Man, a documentary about Ralph Nader,[1] and Earth to America. He works as a producer on the show 'Til Death, which stars former Raymond cast member Brad Garrett.

Personal life

Skrovan was a varsity football defensive back[3] at Yale where he majored in English and graduated with a B.A. in 1979. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He is married and has two children.
